Golok Bugis Panca Warna.

Golok Bugis Panca Warna – From the Sulawesi region of Bugis, this rather rare broad sword or golok has fittings that are well carved with typical Bugis floral motifs, using kemuning woods for the handle and bottom tip, and amgsena woods for the bottom stem. A well repoussed silver ferrule completes fittings.

Thick and very sturdy blade with a single sharp edge and broadens at the top – common golok characteristics.

Rare pamor patterns showing 4 different arrangements, with the base having a swirl like pattern called qul buntet, and above it one one side showing vertical patterns called pamor adeg or standing pamor, with the middle section having contours of the pamor wod utah, and diagonal patterns of the pamor blarak ngirid or coconut leaves.

With four different types of patterns it is also called panca warna or multi colored.
