Pedang Batak Pamor Blarak Ngirid.

Pedang Batak Pamor Blarak Ngirid – Rare example of a sword form the central Sumatran region of Batak. Fittings are made of brass and shows a human figurine handle with the sheath having brass chain attachments.

Thick and very sturdy and still sharp blade has the typical Batak sword features with the small protrusions or fretworks at the base of the blade.

Very rare to find pamor on blades form the region, but this is exceptional in that it has the rare pamor blarak ngirid or coconut leaves pamor patterns, as well as a mount like pattern at the base called tunggak semi.

The pamor blarak ngirid is said to enhance the owner's status while the pamor tunggak semi is also said to be able to enhance the owner's stature as well as a protective pamor.
