Tombak Bliring Jawa.

Tombak Bliring Jawa – A rare example of a spear or tombak with a triangular cross section called the bliring. Of Javanese in origin, the outer sheath made of well selected woods with natural contrasting grains, having a short handle that is carved at places. A commonly seen form of Javenese spear head fittings.

Long and rather slim blade is rather rare with the triangular cross section and thick prominent spine. It also has a long tang or peksi which is the norm for most spears or tombaks, to accommodate for a long shaft when used during warfare.

It is pattern welded with pamor arranged in the miring technique, and has a peak like formation at the base called ujung gunung.
