aide and was the main responsible for the Lakshagraha incident.

local fruit in the shape of the hilt.

Ulu Tajong Kingfisher Deer Horn 0120 – A
fine example of a keris hilt from the northern Malaysian peninsular regions of
Kelantan as well as the southern Thailand region of Patani. Made of white deer
horn, or kijang putih, it is very finely carved in the form called
the tajong. It has been described by writers from the west as a
kingfisher. It is also called "Pekaka" by many in the area, in
resemblance to a bird of the same name. Although it does resemble a bird, closer
look at the handle shows it to be more of a "demonic" figurine.

A very good and rare example of keris handle from the northern Javanese coastal
region of Pesisir, Cirebon.
Made of dark and hardwoods called kenaung, it is finely carved in a form
that has the top half in the jawa
demam form, with the base
having the triangular motifs called pucok rebong, typical of the region's
styles.

Coteng Thailand Silver 0117 -A
very rare example of a keris handle from the southern Thailand regions of Patani.
Unique form of handle is made of wood and is fully encased with finely repoussed
silver in a bird like figurine called the coteng. Although
it does resemble a bird, closer look at the handle shows it to be more of a
"demonic" figurine. Its wide eyes and long beak has a bird's resemblance, but
the teeth and fangs, shows otherwise.

It is very well carved in the kocekan form , and made from very
well selected hardwoods called pelet, that has dark grained appearing due

eastern island of Sumbawa, this figurine hilt form maybe similar to
Batak, Sumatra, but the rounded base of the handle is a characteristic
